Lin Tian Lai was an overseas Chinese businessman in Brunei. His son-in-law Lin Tian zhu was an important painter in Lieyu. This was the house that Lin Tian Zhu lived in and is also a representative building of overseas Kinmen businessmen in Brunei. The interior decoration is also one of the great masterpieces of Lin Tian zhu.
The brick arches on the second floor are with different heights, which is valuable and different from other western style buildings in the area. The painting on the facade is also out of ordinary.
