In 1900s, Fang ran business in Singapore and wired money home to build the house. The main house and the stacked house were completed in different periods. An air raid shelter was built in wartime.
The setting of the building is "one hall, two side houses and one additional wing on the right". The stacked house was built at the back section of the additional wing. The lower part of the Minnan style building was composed of granite rocks, while the upper part was laid with red bricks.
