Fort L18
Stationed by the coastal road near Chaste Maiden Temple in Lieyu
Built in 1987
Fort L18 was constructed by 158th division of ROC troops in 1988.
Renovated and open to pubilc in 2015.
Introduction
The fort begins on the right from Guisan camp and ends at Shaxi, Qingqi on the left, quite a big stronghold.
The main weapons of the fort are M24A1 light tanks standing at the flanks with 16 machine gun firing ports.
Attractions
Fort L18 is a coast defence stronghold. In a sunny day, you can overlook Xiamen city and other sea ports of Mainland China at one glance.
