Fort L18
Stationed by the coastal road near Chaste Maiden Temple in Lieyu
Built in 1987
  • Fort L18 was constructed by 158th division of ROC troops in 1988.
  • Renovated and open to pubilc in 2015.
 
Introduction
  • The fort begins on the right from Guisan camp and ends at Shaxi, Qingqi on the left, quite a big stronghold.
  • The main weapons of the fort are M24A1 light tanks standing at the flanks with 16 machine gun firing ports.
 
Attractions
  • Fort L18 is a coast defence stronghold. In a sunny day, you can overlook Xiamen city and other sea ports of Mainland China at one glance.
