Qilin Mountain is the highest mountain in Lieyu. The main peak is with an elevation of 114 meters.
It used to be "Qilin Mountain Subcaliber Range" of ROC troops, was rebuilt to "Qilin Mountain Forest Park" after the troops withdrew.
There are 3 entrances to the park. One is the intersection near Houtou, the second is through the road from Anding to Jieshou Park, which is the main entrance to the park. The third is through Anding footpath to the range. The park was sited with exhibition hall, footpath and watch tower.

Attractions

The park was an important defence stronghold of ROC troops offering a great view of entire Lieyu island.
With the easing of cross-strait relations, the troops were evacuated from the range, leaving military camps, bunkers, and tunnels over there.
A watch tower with telescope was set up on the peak. When you stand on the tower, you will get a panoramic view of the landscape, including entire Lieyu island, Great Kinmen and Xiamen, which is an unforgettable experience.
